Houston
Ginny and Larry are moving to Houston in September. It was a complete surprise to us all. Larry was promoted to vice president of operations for Williams Gas Pipelines. A great plus is to finally live near one of our siblings. Mike's and Gloria's home is three miles from our town home.
Mike and Ginny in front of our town home. In the background is Larry's office, the Williams Tower, 64 stories tall and one mile from the town home. Yes, Larry will ride a bike or walk. His co-workers tell him that even his bike will sweat. In bad weather Ginny might give Larry a ride in her car.
No kidding, the eight unit town home complex is called Williamsburg. What a great name.
Ginny and the realtor at our town home.
Ginny, Gloria, Mike and our realtor, Shirley Archer. Shirley is an old friend of Mike and Gloria. Her husband, Perry, was Mike's first law partner and Shirley worked in the office, too. Perry sang at Mike and Gloria's wedding at Lake Tahoe.
The back entrance to the patio and a corner of the dining room.
The dining room. This is the previous owner's furniture. The husband is a geologist and they moved to Bogota, Colombia. Sounds familiar.
The living room. Town home has two bedrooms and den upstairs, and a living room, dining room, kitchen and garage downstairs.
The living room.
Kitchen.
The master bath.
The den is an open area at the top of the stairs with doors to the two bedrooms and the laundry.
Gloria hosted a party for the new bride of a nephew. Ginny, Gloria and a friend are helping set up for the party. All were required to wear hats.
Mike and Larry took a ride to the beach while Ginny attended the party.
